Qualities of CVM/Romeldale Wool

CVM / Romeldale is next to the skin soft with less grease weight, longer staple length and very little shrinkage when compared to other wools in its class.  Mother nature provides a kaleidoscope of colors such as black, grays, and many shades of moorit, red and white.  If Mother Nature's color palette isn't what you had in mind, the wool dyes beautifully.

Two traits that sets CVM and Romeldale wool apart from all other breeds of sheep;

  • The fleece darkens from birth through the first year.
  • The fleece will get softer as the sheep ages.
